I suppose someone 'could' get it to work after some bug fixes etc, but for now I'm willing just to get another drive. For futrure reference I'd like to contribute some to the S/Linux effort. My experience with computers is limited in comparison to most on the list - however, I can write html. I'm starting a S/Linux HS compatiblity list. http://brassica.agronomy.wisc.edu/incompt_list.htm Please inform me of other add-on drives that work/don't work. I spent too much time searching the net looking for advice as to which drives were compatitble or incompatible with S/linux. I'd like to get a good list of drives that *do* work so others don't have the frustrating experience that I've just waded through (though I did learn a lot).
