I'm planning to introduce a new concept in the Linux Counter: The
Country Manager.
A country manager would take responsibility for a certain country, state
or city in the counter, and be able to:

- - Modify/unify spellings for cities/states within their area of
  responsibility
- - Change or remove person entries that were duplicates or obviously incorrect
- - Edit "per-place information" that could include info about special
  Linux-related resources in that country/state/city and so on
- - Be part of the Linux Counter "management team".

There's no requirement that there only be 1 such person per country.
The requirements for volunteering are:

- - You are listed in the counter, with your email address out in public
  (so that people can see you)
- - You are subscribed to linux-counter-interest@counter.li.org

If you want to volunteer, drop me a line, stating what area you want
to be a manager for, and what your Linux Counter number is.

To subscribe to linux-counter-interest, send the word "subscribe" in the
BODY of the mail to linux-counter-interest-REQUEST@counter.li.org

The Linux Counter, which has so far counted 73.509 people, is available
at http://counter.li.org/
