A New Version of TSpaces[ v2.0 ] is now available on alphaWorks

TSPaces runs on all Java enabled platforms including Linux

Changes incorporated in v2.0

TSpaces, Release 2.0, adds Transaction support along
with numerous fixes and minor enhancements.

TSpaces is a set of network communication buffers called tuple spaces a=
nd a set
of
APIs (and classes that implement the API) for accessing those buffers. =
TSpaces
allows heterogeneous, Java-enabled devices to exchange data with little=

programming
effort. The package includes server software that implements the buffer=
s and
client
software for accessing the buffers.

TSpaces provides group communication services, database services, URL-b=
ased file
transfer services, and event notification services. With its small foot=
print,
it is ideal for
bringing network services to small and embedded systems; for example, i=
t brings
the
power of the network to palm devices, making them full-fledged network =
computers
capable of controlling printers and other networked devices.
