Posted on comp.lang.python: Folks, We have just made Python's source code available to anyone via a public read-only CVS mirror. Previously, only PSA members had access to this mirror, but we polled the membership and got overwhelming support for opening access up. For more information, please see http://www.python.org/download/cvs.html Enjoy, -Barry Warsaw Note - This is, of course, referring to pre-release source code access and development snapshots. Source has always been available for released versions. Also, the PSA is looking for new members (as always), and suggestions on what can be done to increase membership (such as incentives that can be offered), are welcome. PSA (Python Software Activity) information can be found at: http://www.python.org/psa/ Cheers, Chad Netzer chad@vision.arc.nasa.gov --------------0EFD4523B7E727126CCFC1A7 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

I'm passing along this Python language news tip, in case you haven't
seen it, in hopes it might make this week's edition.
Posted on comp.lang.python:
Folks,
We have just made Python's source code available to anyone via a
public read-only CVS mirror.
