Hello,

Here's a little summary of some of this week's activities in the world
of Zope.

  * Jim Fulton announced the availability of a UML model of the
forthcoming ZODB 3 object database architecture. This is serious
computer science.

  * Ty Sarna announced TinyTables beta 2. TinyTables is a Zope Product
that allows Zope objects to manipulate and store simple structured data.

  * Martijn Pieters offered even more wacky facts about the name "Zope".

  * In a discussion about DTML and it's possible evolution, Jim Fulton
explained some of the finer points of DTML showing how the 'name' and
the 'expr' attributes of the 'var' tag should not be confused.

  * Amos Latteier announced an updated HowTo which describes how to
create a dynamic site map with the tree tag.

  * Paulo Eduardo Neves announced a new version of SQL Input Wizard
1.0.1. This Zope Product helps you create Zope objects to interact with
databases.

  * The Australians are rejoicing now that Martijn Pieters's patch for
extended time zone support has hit CVS. Martijn explains how to retrieve
it for those who can't wait for the next Zope release.

  * Skip Montanaro started a thread about type converters and error
messages. Amos Latteier and Jim Fulton filled in a little background
information about the status quo, and long time veteran object publisher
Phillip Eby offered an interesting proposal to improve argument
marshalling.
