SEOUL, KOREA - Feb 23, 2000 - DaiShin Information & Communications Co.,
LTD (DSIC), a leading IT company in Korea, and Lineo , Inc., the leading
developer of embedded Linux  system software , today announced a strategic
relationship to use Lineo Embedix  Linux and Lineo Embedix Browser as
the embedded Linux software base for DaiShin's Internet appliances.

DaiShin chose Lineo as its embedded Linux software partner to fulfill
DaiShin's Linux strategy. This partnership includes an initial 400,000
Embedix licenses for wireless mobile devices, home networking and
industrial Internet appliances for the Korean and world-wide market.
