The conference is arranged by Skane Sjaelland Linux User Group - SSLUG (http://www.sslug.dk) and the Danish UNIX User Group - DKUUG (http://www.dkuug.dk). The conference web site is located at http://LinuxForum.dk * The theme of the conference is practical usage of Linux and BSD systems. Besides a number of talks, the conference will feature BOF's, and an exhibition area with companies showing Linux and BSD products. The conference language will mainly be Danish. There will also be have display-rooms, where it is possible to see Linux games, Linux office and backoffice solutions, and FreeBSD servers and desktops. * The oral conference program consists of three invited speakers and a number of local speakers. The invited speakers are: * Matt Welsh, who led the LDP for years. Matt Welsh has also written the best-selling Linux book "Running Linux". During the conference there will be a book-signing session with Matt Welsh and Kalle Dalheimer. * Kalle Dalheimer, who is one of the key-leaders of the KDE project will give two talks - one about KDE and another one about programming in Linux. Kalle Dalheimer is co-author on the book "Running Linux". * Gene Spafford - professor and expert in network security will challenge the audience in the talk "Why Open Source Software Only Seems More Secure". Professor Spafford will in his talk describe factors that lead to more secure software.
