TeamLinux Completes Two Acquisitions, Announces New exploreStudio Kiosk
Division
Nationwide open source professional services firm becomes a leading kiosk
and specialized device provider, fiscal 2001 revenues to exceed $15 million.

Dayton, Ohio, October 2, 2000 - TeamLinux Corporation today announced that
it has launched a new kiosk, specialized device and e-commerce solutions
business unit resulting from its acquisition of two of the nation's
established leaders in these technologies. The acquisitions will catapult
the company into a leading position among the nation's top providers of
interactive technologies.

In its latest of six acquisitions since launching in March, rapidly
expanding TeamLinux has acquired the assets of both NCR's Design Center and
Gem City Solutions. Its new kiosk and special device design and development
business unit, which will be launched as "exploreStudio," will consist of
employees from all three companies. The acquisitions combine the
manufacturing and customer relationship strengths of Gem City Solutions; the
Design Center's internationally recognized design and development expertise
with the open source design, software development and support capabilities
of TeamLinux. exploreStudio will provide world-class end-to-end kiosk,
special device and e-commerce solutions to the banking, hospitality, retail,
food service, supermarket and government industries as well as other
developing interactive markets.

"We estimate that the acquisition of Gem City's on-going customer base and
relationships will push our revenues in excess of $15 million for the new
fiscal year beginning October 1. exploreStudio (the former NCR Design
Center), and Gem City Solutions have strong reputations and portfolios that
demonstrate market-proven kiosk, special device and e-commerce solutions
featuring world-class design, innovative aesthetics, solid user interface
and mechanical design," says Dan Maher, TeamLinux chief executive officer.
"The strategic acquisition of two of the nation's foremost leaders in
technology solutions enables our new exploreStudio division to provide
customers a single source for complete interactive solutions. TeamLinux now
offers total end-to-end solutions that include design, manufacturing,
service and support from prototype to large-scale rollouts."
