Subject: Announce: Via audio driver update

An update of the Via audio driver for Linux 2.4.x kernels has been
posted at

	http://gtf.org/garzik/drivers/via82cxxx/

In addition to bug fixes, this update features increased playback
performance and new features: recording, full duplex, realtime, and
trigger support.

The core driver DSP handling was redesigned, so it is possible that a
bug or two may exist. This is EXPERIMENTAL software, do not use on a
production machine.

Please test if you have Via hardware, and report any bugs found.
Feedback, comments, questions, and patches welcome.

Viva la open source!
