Former NCR Attorney Paul Samson Joins TeamLinux
Samson to consult with TeamLinux customers regarding standards and
regulatory compliance.

DAYTON, OHIO (January 24, 2001) - Following a series of recent activities to
further its penetration into the kiosk market, TeamLinux has recruited
former NCR attorney Paul M. Samson to serve as a senior consultant and as
its chief counsel.
Most recently, Samson was a senior attorney with the NCR Corporation's
corporate law group at its Dayton headquarters, where he was integral in
setting strategic direction and negotiations. His areas of legal expertise
include compliance with Underwriters Laboratories, the Federal
Communications Commission and Americans with Disabilities Act standards.
"We sought out Paul expressly for his extensive knowledge and ability to not
only negotiate the complexities of UL, FCC, ADA, and other regulatory and
standards bodies that are so critical to our success in the kiosk market,
but to become a valuable resource to our customers," said Dan Maher,
TeamLinux chairman and chief executive officer. "He complements the existing
expertise of our team, and his skills are invaluable for our current and
future kiosk activities."
Samson earned his doctor of jurisprudence degree at the Emory University
School of Law and has admissions to 11 state bars associations, districts,
courts of appeal and the U.S. Supreme Court. Last year he received the NCR
law department's highest award for his lobbying and legislative reform work.
TeamLinux - a driving force in the kiosk market

In October, TeamLinux acquired the assets of the Gem City Engineering
Company's kiosk division. Its new kiosk and special device design and
development business unit, known as "exploreStudio," consists of knowledge
workers from the Gem City organization, former key members of the NCR
Design Center and TeamLinux. The exploreStudio group provides world-class
end-to-end kiosk, special device and e-commerce solutions to the banking,
hospitality, retail, food service, supermarket and government industries, as
well as other developing interactive markets.

According to Maher, the acquisition of Gem City's ongoing customer base and
relationships pushed TeamLinux's revenues in excess of $15 million for the
new fiscal year beginning October 1. The deal combined the manufacturing and
customer relationship strengths of Gem City Solutions, the former Kiosk
Division; the former NCR team's internationally recognized design and
development expertise, with the open source design, software development and
support capabilities of TeamLinux.

"exploreStudio (www.explorestudio.com <http://www.explorestudio.com/>) is
the combined entity of key members of the former NCR Design Center and the
Gem City Engineering Kiosk Division. The combined team has strong
reputations and portfolios that demonstrate market-proven kiosk, special
device and e-commerce solutions featuring world-class design, innovative
aesthetics, solid user interface and mechanical design," said Maher. "This
strategic combination of resources from two of the nation's foremost leaders
in technology solutions enables our new exploreStudio division to provide
customers a single source for complete interactive solutions. TeamLinux now
offers total end-to-end solutions that include design, manufacturing,
service, and support from prototype to large-scale rollouts."

On January 4 TeamLinux announced the expansion of its relationship with Muze
Inc., the leading provider of entertainment product content and
merchandising solutions. The company will be the premiere provider of all
hardware and services for Muze's 3,900 kiosks and 500 customers worldwide,
including Barnes & Noble, Tower Records, Virgin Mega Stores, Borders Group
Inc. and TransWorld Entertainment Corp.
