Availix Horizontal Clustering 1.3 (Availix HC 1.3) is the Lineo solution for medium scalability of up to seven processors. Through the distributed architecture, Availix HC 1.3 services support a high workload without the risk of failure or CPU bottleneck issues. Users are able to hotswap redundant hardware components in a cluster without rebooting the entire cluster. These redundant components include the CompactPCI bus arbiter board, cluster controller board and the cluster node boards.
