FULL RELEASE:
(May 30, 2001; Socorro NM) FSMLabs, the RTLinux[tm] Company,
today announced the availability of training courses on embedded
Linux, RTLinux and MiniRTLinux. These two-day, hands-on, on-site
classes are designed for groups of five or more students, and will be
taught by FSM developers expert in both core realtime technology and
practical realtime applications.

Edgar Hilton, FSMLabs' Director of Industrial Applications,
said "Our customers are technically advanced companies, and they are
not willing to depend on magical 'black-box' software. They want to
know what's inside and how it works, so they can use that knowledge
to gain an edge." The JumpStart training courses will be
custom-designed, based on students' pre-existing knowledge--one
course might start with basic Linux installation, another with
principles of real-time programming and a third with the design of
RTLinux drivers. FSMLabs is accepting reservations for short courses
for June, July and August, 2001. Courses will be taught at client
facilities, in order to make use of customer-chosen equipment and
intact project groups. Instruction will be given by professional
RTLinux developers and application engineers. More information on
RTLinux can be found at http://www.rtlinux.com. For specific
information on the JumpStart classes, write to training@fsmlabs.com.

About RTLinux[tm]

RTLinux is a high speed, efficient and small realtime kernel
based on the POSIX 1003.13 PS51 specification. Using a patented
dual-kernel design, RTLinux runs a general purpose OS (Linux or BSD
UNIX) as the lowest priority thread of the realtime kernel. As a
result, realtime software components run in a predictable low latency
environment. At the same time, developers still have access to the
full power of the general purpose OS, including its applications and
development tools. This greatly improves development efficiency and
time-to-market for realtime applications.

About FSMLabs Inc.

FSMLabs was founded by the creators of RTLinux with the goal
of extending speed and accuracy in the development of realtime and
embedded systems. By developing systems that reduce complexity and
unpredictability, we advance realtime state-of-the-art. By endorsing
and promoting internationally recognized POSIX realtime standards, we
help ensure ease of development and application portability. With
engineering staff and technology partners worldwide, FSMLabs pursues
solutions characterized by simplicity, robustness and precise design.
