Total Impact is excited to announce the release of its "Centricity" line of parallel network computers. Centricity comprises multiple "briQ's"; TI's Power PC based computing engine. The design of the briQ, along with its Linux operating architecture provides computing performance at a level not seen outside high-end workstations. Multiple briQs have been pre-configured for intensive users as "Centricity" systems, in blocks of four and eight units. More units can be operated in custom configurations. The CD size of the briQ and 20 watt power rating means that large numbers can be installed in small spaces, without additional cooling. Centricity is true "Plug and Play" parallel computing with cross-platform capability allowing optimized performance on any Macintosh or PC network. The modular configuration allows expansion as needs grow. Centricity offers tremendous performance for many applications such as rendering and high performance computing analysis for modeling and simulations. Total Impact has also just finalized a partnership with Terra Soft Solutions Inc., a leading developer of PowerPC Linux technologies for tight integration of Terra Soft's Yellow Dog and Black Lab Linux operating systems. Detailed information on the briQ and Centricity systems is available on our website, www.totalimpact.com or call TI at 1 805 987 8704.
