I was shocked to read this on last week's Desktop page: One last project Sifry wanted to plug was ReefKnot. It's a groupware calendaring server, a web based platform for doing calendaring. It's being put together by a group that includes Dan York, former LPI and e-Smith wonderboy. I have *no* connection whatsoever with Reefknot and have never been involved with it in any way shape or form. However, my colleague here at e-smith, Kirrily "Skud" Robert has been integrally involved from the beginning and she is perhaps the connection to e-smith. I may have mentioned Reefknot to Dave (Sifry) in the past, but it was in the context of a project that I knew of people working on, not something I was doing personally. My comments to him may have not been clear on that. I think Reefknot and all of the projects you mention are critical to plugging a major hole (calendaring) in Linux offerings, and I wish all of those projects much success! But the credit for Reefknot goes entirely to Shane Landrum (srl), Kirrily Robert (Skud), Rich Bowen, Martijn van Beers, and the host of other developers working on the project.
