From: David Mentre <David.Mentre@inria.fr> To: lwn@lwn.net Subject: Attn: Development Editor, Latest Caml Weekly News Date: 11 Sep 2001 13:24:01 +0200 Here is the latest Caml Weekly News, from 5 to 11 september, 2001. ====================================================================== 1) OCamlMakefile 3.00 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Markus Mottl announced: I have just released a new major version (3.00) of OcamlMakefile. The most important new feature is support for automatic preprocessing. But be aware that it requires OCaml-3.03, which has not yet been released! The current CVS-version of OCaml already incorporates the necessary change, i.e. a -pp flag for ocamldep. If you feel daring, check out the CVS-version of OCaml, otherwise wait until the new version is released (will probably not take too long, it seems). You can get OcamlMakefile here: http://www.ai.univie.ac.at/~markus/home/ocaml_sources.html More information are available in the complete annoucement: http://caml.inria.fr/archives/200109/msg00053.html ====================================================================== 2) Bedouin project ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Patrick M Doane announced: The Bedouin project has been officially created on SourceForge as a result of the discussion on the web-caml mailing list. Our goal is to develop a web application framework for generating dynamic HTML content. We want to welcome people to take part in the technical discussions of the architecture, even if you don't write any code. To join the development mailing list, visit: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bedouin-devel or go to the SourceForge web page at http://sourceforge.net/projects/bedouin Developers who would like to contribute code should join the list and contact one of the administrators on the SourceForge site. ====================================================================== d. -- David.Mentre@inria.fr Opinions expressed here are only mine.
