Provo, Utah.  Lextek International announces the availability of the Lextek 
Profiling Engine to software developers.

The Lextek Profiling Engine is a code library for developers who are adding 
document filtering, routing, and classification to their applications. 
Capable of taking an incoming stream of documents, email, or news feeds, 
the profiling engine is capable of performing a high speed analysis then 
accurately filtering, routing, or classifying them based on a set of 
queries or taxonomies.

Because the profiling engine includes a robust set of over 40 different 
query operators, and is capable of handling extremely large taxonomies, in 
addition to featuring a full programming language, developers and users are 
capable of specifying very specifically which documents fulfill their needs 
or are to be otherwise filtered.

As digital media and knowledge assets become more prevalent, it is becoming 
increasingly important to not only be able to search the content but to be 
able to accurately categorize and filter it.  The Lextek Profiling Engine 
is designed to help meet this need.

Lextek expects its Profiling Engine to find application in a wide range of 
products for document and knowledge management, email filtering and 
routing, and for managing and categorizing news feeds and web content.

The profiling engine is available to software developers as an OEM add-on. 
It is also available as a companion product or add-on for companies who 
sell taxonomies or categorization rules.

The Lextek Profiling Engine may be used with a wide variety of operating 
systems including but not limited to Windows, Linux, Solaris, MacOS/OSX, 
and development environments such as MSVC, Delphi, and Visual Basic.
