PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Industry Veteran Brings Extensive Technical and Management Experience 
with Embedded Systems and Information Appliances

NORTH CHELMSFORD, MA--September 18, 2001--SavaJe Technologies, the 
developer of the first and only operating system to provide the full 
Java(TM) 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE(TM)) application environment 
on information appliances, announced today that its has appointed Jeff 
McLeman, 43, as executive vice president of professional services. In his 
new position, McLeman will lead OEM customer integration of the SavaJe XE 
operating system, product service and support. McLeman will head up 
SavaJe Technologies' new Seattle office, and will report to SavaJe 
Technologies, president and CEO, George Grey.

McLeman comes to SavaJe Technologies from BSQUARE Corporation (NASDAQ: 
BSQR) where he served as chief technologist and vice president of product 
development.

Since 1996, Mr. McLeman served in numerous roles at BSQUARE, including 
corporate consulting engineer and director of engineering. He led the 
creation of the Embedded Systems Group at BSQUARE, and was instrumental 
in driving the market-leading technologies, products, and services that 
for which BSQUARE is known today.

Prior to his employment at BSQUARE, Mr. McLeman was vice president of 
engineering at Stellar One Corporation, a wireless systems engineer at 
McCaw Cellular's Wireless Data Division, and served in various 
engineering roles at Digital Equipment Corporation (now a part of Compaq) 
for 16 years.
