REALSCALE TECHNOLOGIES DELIVERS THE FIRST HIGH AVAILABILITY BLADE SERVER
CLUSTER RUNNING ON LINUX

RealScale's i-Cluster(tm) Based Blade Servers come pre-installed with Linux
Red Hat 6.2 or Red Hat 7.1.

Sophia Antipolis, France - September 24th 2001 - RealScale Technologies Inc.
today announced the availability for delivery of the first High-Availability
Blade Server cluster. Based on Intel® architecture, it operates on Red Hat
Linux 6.2 and 7.1.

"RealScale's i-Cluster(tm) is incontestably the most standard and open Blade
Server cluster available on the market today." said Serge Dujardin,
President of RealScale Technologies.

The i-Cluster(tm) can host up to 240 Blade Servers in a standard 19" rack.
Holding potentially 12 servers and 2 redundant Fast Ethernet switches - all
hot swappable -, up to 20 'appliance' chassis can be centrally managed
through a choice of industry recognized interfaces (secured web, i-Shell
command line interface and SNMP) for easy deployment in the customer
environment.

"The i-Cluster(tm) is a groundbreaking platform which provides unequalled
server density with low energy consumption, outstanding manageability and
redundancy plus unique features such as 'One-Click Service Provisioning' to
the Linux-based server space. All critical hardware components are hot
swappable and redundant. Full elimination of Single Point of Failure has
been achieved through a specific implementation, both at the hardware and
the operating system levels. Today, the i-Cluster(tm) is the only Linux
based Blade Server cluster which provides real High-Availability solution
services." said Jean-Christophe Pari, CTO of RealScale Technologies.

The new i-Cluster(tm) offering is ready for shipment. Prices for
i-Cluster(tm) based Blade Servers start at $990. For more information about
price and availability, please contact RealScale at: sales@realscale.com.
