Hello,

I have spent part of this weekend to fix some remaining glitches with
quotas in the kernel patches. There are new versions of the EA and ACL
kernel patches at <http://acl.bestbits.at/pre/> for testing. The supported
kernel versions currently are  2.2.19, 2.4.12, 2.4.12-ac1.

The patches also received heavy rewriting. I would like to release those
patches as the new version as soon as possible, so please test them.

Unfortunately tho new syscall numbers have been reserved in 2.4.12, so the
EA syscall numbers have changed. You will need to rebuild the EA+ACL
utilities.

 * If the quotas of a user are exceeded, extended attributes of inodes
   cannot be modified anymore (this would count as creating a new block
   and then freeing the old block).

Kernel patches:
 * Major restructuring of the code.
 * On i386, the syscall numbers have again changed.
 * Buffer heads were not released when an EA block to reuse was
   found that had reached the maximum reference count.
 * When quotas were exceeded, EDQUOT was in one case not returned
   as the error number.
 * The kernel EXTRAVERSION is now (again) `ea' or `acl', to
   prevent the wrong modules being used.
