Subject: [rl-announce] Build 41, RC2 is available
Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2001 10:35:57 -0700 (PDT)

hi all,

build 41, RC2, is available on ftp.redmondlinux.org, and soon on mirror
sites. this version upgrades the kernel to 2.4.12-ac3 and should fix the
partitioning issue many of you have noticed. beyond that it has some new
backgrounds, better multimedia support, and of course more bug fixes.

unless serious problems are found with this build, i expect the next one
[build 42], RC3, to be declared final. please test and let me know!
especially the partitioning during install.

thanks!

joe
