Toshiba to sell Linux pre-installed Libretto for mobile desktop

Toshiba Digital Media Engineering Corp., a 100% subsidiary of Toshiba
Corporation, started selling Linux pre-installed (dual boot system
between Turbolinux 7 Workstation and Windows 2000) "Libretto L3"
(PAL3060: Transmeta Crusoe TM5600 600MHz, 20GB HDD, 256MB RAM,
1280x600 TFT, 1.1kg weight) in Japan. They are priced at 198,000 yen
(approx $1,600) and can be purchased from the company's web
site. (Unfortunately, suspend/hibernation and winmodem don't work when
using Linux.)
