REDSonic Partners with JUMPtec Adastra
to Provide Total Systems Solutions

SANTA ANA, Calif., - December 4, 2001 - REDSonic, Inc., a leader in real-time
Linux tools and solutions for the embedded market, today announced its
partnership with JUMPtec Adastra, a global leader in the design and
manufacturing of embedded subsystems for the OEM market.

REDSonic will provide full-featured support of JUMPtec Adastra's VNS-786L,
MOPSIcd6, and ETX-P3E boards with REDSonic's RED-Builder™ 2.0 PE development
tool. Both companies will participate in joint marketing efforts to promote
the solutions.

JUMPtec Adastra says the collaboration will complement its existing mission
and product lines. "Our effort with REDSonic and its real-time embedded Linux
solutions will further our goal of providing accelerated time-to-market
solutions with reduced development and run-time costs," said Bruce Boyer,
JUMPtec Adastra's vice president of marketing. "REDSonic's development tool,
RED-Builder, is a strong integration into JUMPtec Adastra's PC/104 SBC
product line and will provide developers with an advanced, easy-to-use,
GUI-based target configuration tool."

"JUMPtec Adastra is a recognized leader in the embedded marketplace overall
and has an impressive share in the European market. This strategic
partnership will help REDSonic extend its reach in the European space," said
Daniel Hong, REDSonic's business development manager. "Also, the relationship
will add more depth to REDSonic's alliance program and further solidify
REDSonic's ongoing commitment to provide total embedded Linux solutions."

The addition of JUMPtec Adastra's PC/104 single-board computer (SBC) hardware
solutions expands the platform compatibility of RED-Builder, and provides a
total solution for the embedded community. With this expanded platform
compatibility, REDSonic looks to enable a quicker time-to-market for a wider
rage of embedded projects.
