Award-winning XPloy in new version

Trustix releases XPloy 2.3 - the new release of the leading and award
winning Linux systems management solution

TRONDHEIM, December 20, 2001 - Today Trustix announced the new version of
the XPloy systems and application management suite for Linux. The new
modules and enhanced functionality reinforce XPloy's position as the
leading systems management solution on Linux.

XPloy 2.3 supports a wider range of Linux distributions -
RedHat 7.1 and 7.2, and Mandrake 8.0 and 8.1, among others.

XPloy 2.3 comes with a wide range of modules for secure, remote and scalable
systems administration of everything from web servers, mail servers and
other infrastructure servers to application servers.

"As well as continuing to broaden the Linux systems management
functionality, we have strengthened the support for application developers
(ISVs) who want to use XPloy as a platform for deployment and management of
applications on Linux," says Jo Uthus, VP Engineering at Trustix.
"The release of XPloy 2.3 marks an important milestone for us," says Havard
Wollan, Trustix Chairman and CEO.
"With XPloy 2.3, we are strengthening our product portfolio and continuing
to add value by enabling corporations to save money by using our systems
management solutions."

Economical and painless migration to Linux

The new XPloy enables a hassle-free migration to Linux from other traditional
platforms - a migration that enables corporations to capitalise on the good
economy in Linux based solutions. UK based Dignatio Corporation Ltd. is one
of the corporations that has benefited from deploying the Trustix XPloy 2.3
systems management solution. Dignatio has also benefited from deploying
the Trustix XSentry security management solution.

"The XPloy 2.3 solution has amazed us - compared to similar solutions on other
platforms, we have saved nearly 35 percent on our IT operations budget,"
says Managing Director Celso Meira of Dignatio Corporation.

Osix/SystemsB.V. of the Netherlands is another corporation that has used
the new XPloy in their system integration consultancy operations.
When migrating to Linux, Osix' clients usually budget with a decrease in
license costs, but they also have to take into consideration increased training
costs for improvement of in-house expertise.

"XPloy's user friendliness enables system administrators on traditional
platforms to manage systems and applications in an easy and intuitive manner
on a Linux platform. Another key function is that an administrator can
securely and remotely manage many Linux servers from one single graphical
console. To summarize, the Trustix XPloy administration suite significantly
reduces the total cost of ownership of our clients' IT infrastructure,"
says Senior Consultant Frank Messie at Osix.

In August earlier this year, Trustix XPloy won the IBM Solution
Excellence Award in the category Hot Linux Business Solution. For a full
