hi folks,

i just wanted to report in that we are currently into release freeze for
rocklinux 1.5.13 devel release, a release of the upcoming stable branch. we
expect a release candidate soon, and unless any large problems arise, we`ll
be able to make a release befor FOSDEM. 

since the x-mas release of ROCK Linux 1.5.12, we`ve been branching off into
devel-to-be-stable and 1.7 aka radical-devel. we currently try to pound out
the 1.5.x series stabilizing releases in 2 month turns, expecting a 1.6
stable in Q2 or Q3 (= as soon as we think it now deserves the name
stable). 

1.5.13 should be stable enough to use for production deployment on intel
already, though. 



also, i just want to note on the side that i`ll be at FOSDEM, which makes
ROCK Linux probably the large free linux with representation there
announced faster than "say hi debian" :-)
