Version 0.7.2 of SBCL has been released. The changes in this version are
related to compiler optimizations, garbage collection and debugging, and
new command line options. SBCL now runs also on SPARC systems. There have
been policy changes for granting wider CVS access and trying regular,
monthly releases.

SBCL (Steel Bank Common Lisp) is a Common Lisp implementation forked from
CMU CL (CMU Common Lisp) which puts a greater emphasis on maintainability.
SBCL runs under Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD on x86, Alpha and SPARC CPUs.
