HP to Provide U.S. Department of Energy Laboratory One of World's Fastest Supercomputers.
The Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory announced that it has ordered an 8.3TF
Linux-based supercomputer from Hewlett Packard Company to be installed in
the Molecular Science Computing Facility in the William R. Wiley
Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory, a DOE scientific user
facility at PNNL.
PNNL will be posting job openings for senior kernel programmers to work
on this new supercomputer. The jobs.pnl.gov site should have the
listings starting April 20, 2002.
