From: Louis Suarez-Potts <luispo@mac.com> To: <announce@openoffice.org> Subject: [announce] New Native Language Projects: Italian and Dutch Date: Thu, 25 Apr 2002 11:52:20 -0700 All, As many of you are aware, OpenOffice.org has a "Native Language Development" project, popularly called the "lang" project (http://lang.openoffice.org). The focus of this wholly community-sponsored project is to provide information and resources in a user's native tongue. We now have four "lang" projects, with two (Italian and Dutch) added only in the last few weeks: *Dutch: http://lang.openoffice.org/nl/index.html *French: http://lang.openoffice.org/fr/index.html *German: http://lang.openoffice.org/de/index.html *Italian: http://lang.openoffice.org/it/index.html Each project has at least one discussion mailing list. So, if you want information , or join a forum where you can write to others in your native tongue, consider joining the lang project of your choice. And if there is no lang project yet in your language, you can always create one. - Louis Suarez-Potts Community Manager OpenOffice.org louis@collab.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: announce-unsubscribe@openoffice.org For additional commands, e-mail: announce-help@openoffice.org
