EventsEuropean Python and Zope Conference. Here's a new announcement for the European Python and Zope Conference 2002, to be held June 26 to 28 in Charleroi, Belgium. There's a few more details about the event, including keynotes to be given by Guido van Rossum, Eric Raymond, Jim Fulton, and Paul Everitt. New York Linux Scene - a public demonstration. The New York Linux Scene and CUNY Graduate Center are holding a public demonstration of GNU/Linux in the workplace for small to medium sized businesses on Friday, May 24th (10am-5pm). Boston Perl Classes (use Perl). A set of Perl classes will be held in the Boston area from July 1-3, 2002. Linux Expo Birmingham cancelled. The Linux Expo Birmingham has been canceled, due to the bankruptcy of Sky Events. This is, it turns out, bad news for some of the event's planned speakers, who have expenses that will not be reimbursed. Events: May 23 - July 18, 2002.
