From: Andrew Kuchling <akuchlin@cnri.reston.va.us> Subject: Python at Linux Expo Date: Fri, 22 May 1998 08:10:24 EDT There will be various Python-related events occurring at the Linux Expo conference next week. * Sean Reifschneider is giving a Python tutorial at 10 AM on Friday, May 29. * I'm having a Python Birds-of-a-Feather session at 9 AM on Saturday, May 30. If you have some interesting project to demonstrate or talk about, please send me an e-mail; you can give a brief, 1 to 5-minute talk about it. We'll also talk about whatever Python-related things we feel like. * Also, Digital Creations is among the exhibitors at the Expo, so you can see demos of their products and ask them questions. Linux Expo is a conference about the technical and commercial aspects of the Linux operating system (obviously enough). It'll be taking place in Durham, NC, USA, from May 28-30. One-day tickets for the conference apparently cost $10 at the door, so if you're in the area, you can attend the tutorial or the BoF session without too much trouble. See you there! == A.M. Kuchling http://starship.skyport.net/crew/amk/ For them, in a time when the individual has lost significance (despite loud assertions to the contrary), an informed, rational, and intellectually adventurous individuality must take precedence over all else. In their seeming disunion lies their real strength. -- Robertson Davies, _A Voice from the Attic_ -- -------- comp.lang.python.announce (moderated) -------- Article Submission Address: python-announce@python.org Python Language Home Page: http://www.python.org/ -------------------------------------------------------
