If I understood him correctly, he said that his laboratory has converted almost exclusively to Linux. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to talk more about this with him! Featured presentation: Dr. Judah Levine from the NIST Time and Frequency Division gave this months presentation. He discussed some of the fundamental problems of time synchonization, the methods that computer systems use for time keeping, and the methods used for computer time synchronization over the internet.
