 Minoru Embraces Open Source

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, SEPTEMBER 14, 1998--Minoru Development
Corporation announced today its commitment to open source software development.
This major change affects how Minoru develops software, and the fundamental
business model for the company.

Minoru products under development will be developed on the open source model,
allowing anyone with an Internet connection to view, and participate in its
software development process.

"The change from proprietary software to open source software will be as
significant as the change from mainframe technology to personal computers",
says Brian Bray, Minoru president and former Microsoft development manager.

Future Minoru products will be made available under the GNU general public
licence (GPL).

Other products released as open source software include the Linux(TM)
computer operating system, the Apache(TM) World Wide Web server, and the
Netscape Navigator(TM) web browser.
