But I can live with that for now :) Other notes: When I find a new ftp home, I will start uploading my kernels again ( I no longer work at CMU so I can upload my kernels to the work station I had anymore). So,, when I either find some one kind or get a job where they will allow me to do o have a public ftp area :) I will for those that are interested. As for observed improvements, it looks like they have been messing with the interrupt handling in the kernel 'cause on the SS1+ I don't see interrupts gogin up into the thoounds anymore during a kernel compile; on the SS2 I have, it looks like the same thing has occurred, but its effects are not as noticable in terms of improvement in performance. As for NMI I have been complaining about ;) it is occurring in the interrupt handler for the keyboard/mouser... at least strace is showing that it gets just before that point. Alas, I am new to the low level details of the Sparc, so the best I can do currently is figure out where things wwent wrong. -henry -- To unsubscribe: mail -s unsubscribe sparc-list-request@redhat.com < /dev/null
