Have a look in ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/debian. This is a repository of Gnome debian packages. It is just a convenience for debian users as the same packages are already available for download from ftp.debian.org and mirrors: this way they may update only the packages required to run gnome, without upgrading to the whole unstable distribution. If time permits there will be also a repository for snapshots compiled directly from the cvs. All you need to do is install the apt package and add the following line to your /etc/apt/sources.list: deb ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/debian dists/released/ and then use the dselect method or the command-line interface, ie: apt-get install gnome-panel gnome-session ... For any questions or problems with this repository mail to: lupus@debian.org Thanks. -- "The number of UNIX installations has grown to 10, with more expected." - _The UNIX Programmer's Manual_, Second Edition, June, 1972. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-request@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
