Gatwood" <marsmail@globegate.utm.edu> To: mklinux-setup@public.lists.apple.com, Subject: Progress Report: PB1400/5300 SCSI driver I've gotten the header issues with NetBSD's sbc driver resolved on the machine dependent section, and I've started trying to mach-ize the driver. This is where I need help from others. First, the base address for this hardware isn't publicly known. I have no idea how to go about tracking that down, except that MacsBug would be a good place to begin. Second, I've run into something in NetBSD-mac68k in which setjmp's return value is used to determine whether a bus error occured in the driver. I don't have the slightest idea how to implement this functionality. I'll probably ask for ideas on that from the NetBSD-mac68k folks on that, too.... What's left is figuring out how to handle the attach code and stuff, and replacing all of NetBSD's writes and reads with calls to inb and outb and stuff, as well as everything mentioned above.
