The 'Sql Power SniFFFer' and '7x24 Global Sql Monitor' are
industry break-thru SQL transaction performance monitoring products
that will be commercially available within 60 days for Linux.
These products can currently monitor Linux Sybase database
servers from 95, NT or UNIX platforms. Within 60 days these
products will run on Linux for monitoring of Sybase database
servers running on Linux.
The '7x24 Global Sql Monitor' (powered by the Sql Power SniFFFer)
summarizes in real-time average SQL transaction response time,
rows returned, network time and more at the SQL transaction level.
The database server performance may be determined over any time
period for today, yesterday, last week, last month, last quarter
or last year. Trending database server performance at the SQL
transaction level is automatically detected. Hundreds of Sybase
database servers can be non-intrusively monitored.
The 'Sql Power SniFFFer' captures, analyzes and monitors the performance
of all SQL transactions to the database server. The product monitors
at the SQL transaction level elapsed time, network send and receive time,
rows returned, show plan and I/O performance results. Real-time alerts
by SQL transaction may be setup. The SQL transaction flow to the
database server may be reconstructed from any time period.
For high volume (1000+ transactions/second) production, test or
development database server environments
The Sql Power SniFFFer products reverse engineer the SQL network
packet flow to the database server. The product does NOT have
to run on the database server, NOR on any client work stations
connected to the database server.
The Sql Power SniFFFer products have NO impact upon database
servers, network or end-users.
The Sql Power SniFFFer products require NO intrusive middleware,
database server monitors, agents, probes or audits.
The Sql Power SniFFFer requires NO open server installation,
open client software and MINIMAL on-going DBA support.
Product installation is a three step process that can be
