Subject: [S.u.S.E. Announce] Security Hole NFS/libc5


Dear Linux Users,

Recently a security hole was discovered in the NFS server (rpc.mountd)
that makes it possible for attackers to attain root access over the
network.  A security hole in libc5 that allows attackers to attain
root access was also found.

All S.u.S.E. Linux distributions are affected, including S.u.S.E. Linux
5.3.

Relevant packages can be found on our ftp server:
