From: cv601@torfree.net (William Park) Subject: Python tutorial in Toronto Date: Wed, 28 Oct 1998 07:27:33 GMT An informal tutorial on Python is being scheduled in Toronto. It will be more detailed than the on-line tutorial at http://www.python.org/doc/tut/ and will cover most non-GUI stuffs from "Programming Python" by Mark Lutz. In case you don't already know, Python is an object-oriented script language with clean and simple syntax that is easy to read and write. Once you try Python, you won't go back to C, sed, awk, or perl. If there are people in the city of Toronto, Ont, Canada, wishing to attend the tutorial, please contact me cv601@torfree.net (William) or aa175@torfree.net (Ken). The tutorial will be held Saturday morning in Rogers Building at Ryerson. Yours truly, William --
