upgraded from 5.1

1) kbd package seems to be corrupt:
warning: /etc/rc.d/init.d/keytable saved as /etc/rc.d/init.d/keytable.rpmsave
unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/lib/kbd/keytables: -2147483639: Operation not permitted
error: kbd-0.96a-8.sparc.rpm cannot be installed

2) Xsun unusable (like in 5.1).  But Xsun24 seems to make it
operations like switching between console and X more stable. although
gpm doesn't work with X running.

 While I have peoples attention.  I'm trying to get a 2.1 series
kernel working.  I get the latest vger source compiled, but I have
problems with the second display.  in X the cursor jumps when it is on
the second display.

1) text consoles for the second monitor (or something useful for it
todo.) Can I run split text console/X on the two displays in any
fashion?

2) a gui cd player.

3) /dev/audio

4) 2.2 :)
