Synopsis: This month's presentation on Amateur Packet Radio Networking
was given by Ted Cross, President Rocky Mountain Systems Design, and Dave
Maciorowski. They gave us a good overview of the underlying
communications protocol, the hardware and software requirements, amateur
radio licensing, and some general pointers for configuring a Linux box for
use in a packet radio network. They also provided several URL's for more
information on the topic. The following list is mostly from memory, and a

The December Mini-Expo was discussed briefly, mostly with regards to its
