Sparc

A few people have asked recently: why doesn't the "bigmac" ethernet controller work?. The answer is that it's not supported; the driver never got finished. David Miller says "it's on his list," but hasn't given any indication of just where on the list it sits...

Alpha

www.alphalinux.org has received a major makeover, check it out if you haven't been there recently. We don't know about that penguin, though... it looks a bit more like a rooster...

Here's another way to get netscape running on an Alpha, this one uses the x86 emulation mode and the Intel version of the browser. Just follow these instructions posted by Dragos-Anton Manolescu and you should be in good shape.
