PATCH FOR "UMLAUT BUG" AVAILABLE NOW!

The "umlaut import" patch for the Linux Office Suite 99 is now available.
This patch improves the import of MS Word 97 documents into Applixware.

This patch for libc5 as well as glibc systems can be downloaded from our
ftp server:

ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse_update/Applix/4.4.1/

For libc5-based systems (such as SuSE Linux 5.3):

libc5/filters_patch4.41.211.13.libc5.tgz

For glibc-based systems (such as Red Hat 5.1 & the upcoming SuSE Linux
6.0):

glibc/filters_patch4.41.211.13.glibc.tgz

Please apply the patch as "root" in your system using the following:

tar zxvf filters_patch4.41.211.13.libc5.tgz -C /opt/applix/axdata
