From: Eric Delaunay <delaunay@lix.polytechnique.fr> Subject: new bootdisks available To: debian-sparc@lists.debian.org (debian sparc group) Date: Sat, 5 Dec 1998 00:42:06 +0100 (CET) Hello, I've just uploaded new release of boot disks to erlangen. Hope it will reach master rather soon... New features: - diskless workstation support - 2.0.35 kernel - 2.0.100 libc (Debian/SPARC snapshot 11/27/98) - apt support Still available: - serial console support - floppy boot - net boot See the sparc-release-note.txt document to know how to configure for diskless workstation. To do: - 2.1.xxx kernel boot - build the Debian install docs (not available in this release due to an out-of-date sgml-tools package :-( ). - merge sparc-release-note into the Debian install sgml doc under the sparc section. Enjoy with it and report any problem to the debian-sparc mailing list. Regards. PS: bootdisks are also available from my ftp site: ftp://lix.polytechnique.fr/pub/Linux/debian/sparc/exp/disks-sparc/current -- Eric Delaunay | "La guerre justifie l'existence des militaires. delaunay@lix.polytechnique.fr | En les supprimant."
