Subject: Chinese Linux Extension project (CLE)   

Dear editor,
Just read your 1998 linux timeline at Linux weekly news website. Very
informative. Thank you for your effort to let me know the up-to-date linux
news. As a Chinese, I would like to say that many Chinese linux fans in
Taiwan and Hong Kong are doing something to localize Linux in Chinese. One
of the best project is called Chinese Linux Extension (CLE). This project
is started in Jun 20 this year and we also hosted a web site at
http://cle.linux.org.tw/CLE. Although this web site is written in Chinese
(Big-5 code), we also started to translate to English at
http://cle.linux.org.tw/CLE/e_index.shtml so that other non-chinese people
also understand our progress.
