I resend on the linuxconf list, maybe this works better. Sorry if you get this twice). The linuxconf module isdnadmin ALPHA release 0.4.2 is now available at http://www.terminator.net/isdnadmin/ This release is supposed to: Work with isdn4linux enabled Linux kernel 2.0.36 and binaries 3.0 beta2. Work with any RedHat 5.x system (using isdn4net isdn scripts). Work with hisax isdn card, syncPPP and ESSD1 (Euro) lines. Config and control multiple card, link and net profiles. Integrate with linuxconf/RedHat network and system tools. This features are tested locally on a few RedHat systems using Norwegian isdn services, and should hopefully work with similar telecom systems, other card modules, and maybe rawip net devices. Some documentation are available at the homepage, but it requires some experience with isdn to see if this test release is working correctly on your system, so this module is not recommended for first time isdn4linux users. Others with RH5 systems are invited to check it out, and maybe send comments about bugs, bad ideas, better ideas, etc, if it looks interesting :-) The control and status part in isdnadmin should also work (mostly) with other distributions using isdn4linux binaries, but the configuration scripts will probably need heavy modification. One goal is a distribution independent linuxconf module so please contact me if you can help porting to your distribution. Stein Vråle (who found that with the linuxconf module system, anyone can make linuxconf front-ends for their favorite configfiles, without any knowledge of c++ beforehand. Go to http://www.solucorp.qc.ca/linuxconf/tech/modtutor/index.html and start hacking new modules :-) --- You are currently subscribed to linuxconf as: [lwn-linuxconf@eklektix.com] To unsubscribe, forward this message to leave-linuxconf-222304G@XC.Org
