More great business news from Scriptics.  There were also several
threads on development models for the overall community that are
worth a read.  Be sure to check out Paul Duffin's "stubs" mechanism
noted below.  Not online yet, but Usenix members should look for the
January special issue of ;login: containing several Tcl articles
(thanks Peter Salus!).  What do you mean, not a member?  Join!

    John Ousterhout reports that Scriptics has closed a second
    round of financing, and brought in Linda Giampa as VP Sales.
    Plans are for a doubling of staff by this summer
