Gatwood" <marsmail@globegate.utm.edu> To: MkLinux-Setup@public.lists.apple.com Subject: New Bug Reporting Address In order to reduce problems associated with the bugs@mklinux address no longer being active, I've set up a bug reporting address, in the form of an open-posting, open-subscription mailing list. Developers are encouraged to subscribe. Note that the purpose of this list is not for reporting general install problems. That's what -setup is for. The new list is for reporting backtrace information, and in a few minutes, I will commit changes to the current sources so that future kernels will point debug information to that list. To send bug report backtraces, send them to: mklinux-bugs@globegate.utm.edu To subscribe to the bug report list (to be a recipient of these backtraces and bug reports), send a message with subscribe in the body to mklinux-bugs-request@globegate.utm.edu Hopefully, a bug tracking database can be established at some point in the near future to minimize the need for such a list, but until then, it seems like a potentially useful resource. Another possibility would have been to send people to -development-system, but as a closed posting list, that becomes problematic at best. Thanks, David David A.
