We are are looking for several students to work closely with the technical staff on the development of next-generation information infrastructures. For more information, see our summer employment web page: http://www.cnri.reston.va.us/employ/summer.html We are looking for students to work in the following areas: - globally distributed name services, - e-commerce, computer animation and remote instrument control in support of MEMS design and fabrication, - digital library architecture to enable the deposit, storage, and dissemination of digital objects, - mobile agent technology, including applications to publishing and digital library collections. We are interested in undergraduate or graduate students majoring in computer science or related scientific and engineering fields. Any student with an extensive programming background would be qualified. Previous work experience and on-campus research experience are highly relevant but not necessarily required. CNRI is located in Reston, Virginia, about 20 minutes from downtown Washington DC. Housing is available in the suburban environs of Reston. Reston is also served by commuter buses to many locations in northern Viriginia, including a DC Metro station.
