LinuxPPC Inc. to show quad-CPU PowerPC 750 computer at LinuxWorld Expo.

LinuxPPC Inc., the leading distributor of the Linux operating system for
PowerPC computers, announced today that it will be displaying Synergy
Microsystems Inc.'s quad-CPU 400 MHz PowerPC 750 single board computer at
the upcoming LinuxWorld Expo. The boar d will be displayed in LinuxPPC's
Technology Showcase. 

Synergy Microsystems, a San Diego company, manufactures high performance
VME and CompactPCI single board computers.  The computer being displayed
at the LinuxWorld Expo sports four 400 MHz PowerPC 750 ("G3") processors
running the Linux operating system. The Synergy board runs the Linux
operating system in symmetrical multiprocessor (SMP) mode, which divides
the tasks running on the board between each of the four processors. 

The LinuxPPC is in booth #1447 at the LinuxWorld Expo in San Jose,
California, March 2-4, 1999.
