SUN COMMUNITY SOURCE LICENSING ANNOUNCED.  Sun is making the source code to
the Java(tm) 2 Platform available to the developer community.  This
offering is intended to further propel innovation of the Java platform and
provide developers with easier access to Java platform sources while still

JAVAMAIL(tm) 1.1.1 API SOFTWARE RELEASED.  Provides a set of abstract
classes that model a mail system.  The API provides a platform independent
and protocol independent framework to build Java-based mail and messaging
applications.  This release includes implementations of the core JavaMail
packages.  Also included are implementations of the IMAP and SMTP service

JAVA NAMING AND DIRECTORY INTERFACE(tm) (JNDI) 1.1.2 NOW AVAILABLE.
Provides Java(tm) applications with a unified interface to a multitude of
naming and directory services in the enterprise.  As part of the Java
Enterprise API(tm) set, JNDI enables seamless connectivity to heterogeneous
