Tripwire Security Systems to Make Linux Version of Tripwire 2.0 Available
For Free 

Details:
Beginning March 2, in conjunction with LinuxWorld, Tripwire Security
Systems (TSS) will make the Linux version (2.x) of its Tripwire(tm) File
Integrity Software available as a free downloadable program off the
company's website.  Tripwire's FIA technology provides the most fundamental
layer of intrusion detection for the enterprise.  It is the most widely
deployed FIA tool in the Unix market, and it is also a key technology for
damage assessment and recovery and forensics.  The free distribution of
Tripwire for Linux is designed to support the Linux user community, which
has typically utilized free or low cost software.

LinuxWorld Activity:
During LinuxWorld, TSS will be giving away hard copy CD-Rom's of Tripwire
for Linux, which includes the user manual.  Tripwire's Gene Kim, CTO and
co-author of Tripwire, and Stephanie Fohn, VP of Marketing, will be
available for interviews during the conference, as well as to provide
personal review copies of the program.
